A little something for everyone....
So, as part of my job I'm shifting about 10 000 LPs from one place to another. Don't ask - it's just what we do in libraries. This, however, is opening me up to the vast (and by vast I mean "They have a recording of THAT?") amount of music trapped on vinyl, having fallen out of favour with the current listening public.
In our collection, I managed to come across this gem: "The Singing Club" by the Hilliard Ensemble. On it were a number of gems, and I post them here for your amusement.
Jack, I think "There is a paradise on earth" should be your theme song - I'll post the lyrics when I scan the booklet. Mike, "The Singing Club" reminded me particularly of you.
